Answer the following questions in essay format in a Microsoft Word document. There is no length requirement, but you should answer the questions completely using the information we covered in class throughout the last unit. When you are done, make sure you have your name and period on the document, print it out and bring it to me. You may use Monster.com as a resource during the test.
Questions:
1. It's almost summer and you would like to make some money during your break. Describe four methods of searching for a job and the pros and cons of each method. You should discuss 2 online methods and 2 offline methods. (12 points)
2. You are in a job interview and the interviewer asks you to discuss two of your weaknesses. You remember from your Intro to Business class that you should use weaknesses that are extremes of your strengths and to always provide a solution to them while you describe them. Tell me your two biggest strengths, and then explain how you would answer the interviewer's question. (14 points)
3. Name at least three things that you should do to prepare for a job interview and explain why you should do them. (12 points)
4. During an interview, you are asked to tell about a time when you had to solve a problem by thinking "outside-the-box". Tell about a time like that using detailed information. (8 points)
5. When applying for a job, what three documents should you turn in and what is the purpose of each? (12 points)
6. What are three things that you should do after a job interview? (6 points)
7. Explain what appropriate attire means as it pertains to a job interview. (5 points)
8. Name three things employers are trying to figure out about you via your resume and the interview process. (6 points)
